Everyday,
ordinary people perform extraordinary and sometimes life-saving acts of
compassion.This is a free event (RSVP required)to
celebrate people, organizations and animals who have made the extra effort,
taken the extra step, and gone the distance to improve the lives of others and
truly made a difference here in LaneCounty.
The second
annual Everyday Heroes Luncheon is also a benefit for the Oregon Pacific
Chapter of the American Red Cross and will help support the chapter's many
community services.
At the
event, all of our incredible Nominees and Award Winners will be
celebrated.The Award recipients will be
introduced with video vignettes that show their stories of heroism.

Pacific Chapter of the American Red Cross will be accepting the public's Everyday Heroes Nominations through January
15, 2010.The Award Winners will be
selected by a committee of community leaders.
