Everyday,
ordinary people perform extraordinary and sometimes life-saving acts of
compassion.This was a free eventto
celebrate people, organizations and animals who have made the extra effort
taken the extra step and gone the distance to improve the lives of others and
truly made a difference here in DouglasCounty.
The first
annual Everyday Heroes Dinner was also a benefit for the Oregon Pacific Chapter
of the American Red Cross and will help support the chapter's many community
services. More than 90 people attended the event to celebrate our wonderful Everyday Hero Nominees and Award Winners.
